Textbook of Histology provides light microscopic structure of the human tissues. It has been updated and reprinted a number of times. In the reprint of 2004 each figure had been supplemented with three key points for quick revision. The fourth edition has been able to ful fil the long awaited demand for the photo micro graphs accompanying the figures. Thus the photo micro graphs figures and three key points are sufficient for last minute revision of histology. Functional aspect has been added as a separate heading in all chapters so as to correlate the structure and function of the tissue. This would lead to a holistic understanding of the subject. About the Author Krishna Garg is ex-Professor and Head Department of Anatomy lady Hardinge Medical College New Delhi. She has revised and edited fourth and fifth editions of the popular BD Chaurasias Human Anatomy. She is coauthor of Anatomy and Physiology for Nurses and Allied Health Sciences. She was awarded Satyapaul Sabherwal Award for contribution to lHMC alumni association (2009) and Chikitsa Ratan Award by Delhi Medical Association (2010). She is happy with its editions and highlights of clinical aspects. She is coauthor of Textbook of Histology.
