The fourth revised and enlarged edition of the Directory of Libraries in India contains much larger number of addresses of libraries in India. Some chapters have been added exclusively to provide addresses of institutions offering courses on important subjects like Management, Medicine and Nursing, Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Law, Agriculture, Sports, etc. In addition, addresses of premier academic and professional institutions of Indias neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh have also been included so as to give it a wider coverage.
