Insoft, MD, FAAP is the Senior Vice-President for Medical Affairs and Quality at Women & Infants Hospital where he is also a practicing neonatologist. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Brown University Alpert Medical School. He served 2 elected terms as Chair of the AAP's Section on Transport Medicine and co-chaired and spoke/taught at multiple Academy, PREP and other regional, national/international conferences. He has authored numerous research articles and chapters, many on quality improvement and transport medicine. Associate editor: Hamilton P. Schwartz, MD, MEd, FAAP, FACEP is a board-certified physician in Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Emergency Medical Services. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's where he has worked for 16 years. Dr. Schwartz has been serving on the Ohio Medical Transportation Board as a governor-appointed member since 2009.
